Composer’s notes
The composition ALP was commissioned by the artist Alexander Polzin who requested a musical accompaniment for the exhibition of his works in New York and Los Angeles. The artist’s works inspired me to use texts from the Book of Revelation by St. John for this composition. The title ALP refers to the first letters of the commissioning artist. First, the piece was recorded in a studio in Berlin to be played later at the exhibition venues.
